from hannity and colmes. colmes actually takes the john edwards affair controversy into a politically pertinent terrain: if john edwards cant be trusted with office because he cheated on his wife and broke their vows, then neither can john mccain who also cheated on his wife. hannity resists and says that there were extenuating circumstances (war hero). so the if>then analogy fails because white head was a POW? seems to me that the then statement fails, the part that bundles if:cheater>then:no  office. however, it doesnt seem that POW makes the analogy of the if: segment fail. [i particularly enjoy how they try to lump edwards in with the other hypocrites. the foley scandal was not a controversy, like larry craig, or david vitter who they dont mention. he was exploiting pages, thats not some simple failing of fidelity.] (watch video)
